As the sun goes down, so do the temperatures. Tonight has edged towards freezing: perfect weather for hearty soups, strong schnapps, and sitting by fires doing a whole lot of nothing.

There are four huts (well, huts that sleep eight and have saunas, living rooms, and fireplaces, so your definition of hut may vary), and everyone is paired up for sleeping (in rooms with either a double bed or bunk beds depending on which is funnier to you, with shared living and dining space for the eight of you to mingle, roast marshmallows, throwing raging parties involving Cards Against Humanity and glühwein, etc.

Freezing and fish people did not go well together, no. So Sidon, as much as he would have liked to enjoy exploring and whatever other fun awaited outside, was resolutely remaining in the hut that evening. With perhaps every spare blanket he could find draped over his shoulders as he sat on the sofa, wanting to be close to the fire but not too close. Fire and fish people were not quite a good combination, either.

He was trying to stay positive, though, and was very glad for this thing called hot chocolate that was helping to keep him from being completely miserable with this less than ideal climate.

Restaurant [10/8 evening]

The restaurant offers both a weekly special menu (this week featuring venison and mushrooms) or an ala carte menu of traditional Austrian favorites, including noodles, schnitzels, roasted pork, and gulash soup. Make sure to save room for homemade apple strudel, too!

In addition to it serving food, the restaurant also has a cozy fireplace and a fully stocked bar, so you are more than welcome to stay a while and chat with the rest of the Fandomites.

Sitting by the fire with a warm drink sounded perfect to Kitty, so that was her entire plan for the night. She came armed with a trashy romance novel that had absolutely nothing to do with real life, because real life was not intruding on her damn vacation this week.
