Necker Island, Thursday Evening

We hope you like disco.

Because the island's on fire with a disco party TONIGHT! Make sure to grab some disco gear at the bar and get to the BOOGIE.

The Great House is the hub of all things Necker Island. Not only does it contain many gorgeous open bedrooms, outfitted with enormous terraces, but the house's perch on the island's highest points also grants it some incredibly scenic lounging possibilities. In fact, up on the roof, you'll find a jacuzzi big enough for four at a time.

Don't fight over it.

Every private room has a double or twin beds, depending on ~~what's suitable and/or funny~~ which one you're assigned. Every room comes with a private en-suite bathroom and a beautiful view of the beach on either side of the island.

The Great House has a spacious dining room, where private chefs serve different takes on local cuisine every evening. There's seating area outside as well, and the woman behind the bar will make you any number of cocktails if you ask nicely.

The Great House comes with a wrap-around terrace that supports hammocks and cosy sofas. There are board games and even chess sets available - and a fully-stocked bar.

In the center of the Great House, you'll find the deck, which provides a stunning scenic view of the surrounding area, more seating, a pool table and a piano. Also, champagne. And a lot of it.

And if you take the stairs up, you'll find a four-person jacuzzi. Nice!

Just outside the house sits an enormous infinity pool, which remains warm even in the nighttime hours. Jump in, give it a try! There'll be plenty more swimming to do elsewhere for the rest of the week, but there's no place like home.

Gather up at this beautiful pavillion by the pool for an extra-special dinner tonight. The floating sushi bar has come back in style today, in an extra-large kayak right alongside the pavillion. Get your choice of sushi - vegetarian or not - and settle down at the tables. There's Caribbean music, too.

The Beach House is still open for all of your entertainment needs! Grab a drink at the bar, play some pool, or have a go at a board game.

They're throwing a disco party in the Great House tonight! Show up, get your weird sunglasses and your other weird accessories (they've got them all at Necker) and boogie the night away!

Or stand in the corner and make fun of it like the cynical children you are.

Anything you want is here. Weird sunglasses? Check. Bell bottoms? Yes. Tie-dye? Oh yes.

"What and why?" Rey asked in a kind of horrified wonder, pulling at something tie dyed.

"I can't believe people used to wear this shit," Dante said, holding up a pair of glittery red bell bottoms.

"In this disguise I'm invisible!" Kuzco crowed, patting his terrifying, terrifying poncho.

No, no he wasn't invisible. Sorry for your eyes, everyone.

Enjoy that funky disco music.

C'mon. You know you want to do the Travolta thing.

If you thought Kitty wouldn't be at a disco party, you didn't know her very well. She was a dork who knew Dazzler, of course she was here, not doing the Travolta thing, but still having fun.

Whatever, nerd.

Take a nighttime journey with a tour guide along the island, all the way up to the cliffs of Windy Point. The guide's bringing a cooler for anyone who'd like to enjoy a drink while they take in the sights of the ocean at night - and the wind in their hair.

Ada did not understand the idea of disco. Ada loved heights.

This is where she was tonight, enjoying the wind and the soothing blackness of the ocean at nighttime.
