Welcome back to the Castle Hotel & Spa. Located 30 miles from Manhattan and a mile and a half from Sleepy Hollow, this beautiful piece of architecture sits majestically atop one of the highest points in Westchester County, and overlooks the Hudson River amid sprawling acres of manicured gardens and grounds. With over 100 years of history, the Castle is a sumptuous escape to the enchanted era of America’s Gilded Age.

Students are in Deluxe Rooms located in Carrollcliffe, the newest wing of the Castle with one king-size bed or two queen-size beds ~~whichever is funnier~~, private bath with a shower/tub combination. The hotel offers the most luxurious imported linens, goose-down comforters, and plush bathrobes (and chocolates on your pillow because they're fancy). Deluxe rooms also include an armoire with a flat-screen HDTV, Tivoli clock radio, Bose sound system and complimentary high-speed internet access.

Teachers and their guests are in Junior Suites, also located in Carrollcliffe. In addition to all of the goodies in the students' room, the teachers get a sitting alcove and a separate tub and shower to relax in. Booyah.

Ever wanted to eat at a five-star Zagat rated restaurant? Ever been glad the school is paying for everything? Then Equus is for you! Dining options include their celebrated seasonal Prix Fixe tasting menus and the carefully designed a la carte offerings (plus dessert) in three acceptably snooty rooms: The Garden Room, the Oak Room, or the Library. Lobster corndogs, people. What the hell.

If you can't wait for dinner service to start at 5:30, there's a Happy Hour menu as well, just in case you're dying to find out what $9 pigs in a blanket taste like. Or pulled pork poutine.

Instead he was going to order something huge and full of meat. After that, he was going to head down to the bar and get drunk.

Want to feel like you own the universe while sipping a scotch older than many of the students and eating $12 pickles? Come on over to the General's Bar for fancy drinks and truffled beef tartar.

The 8,000 square-foot THANN Sanctuary Spa features amenities such as steam, whirlpool, relaxation lounges, and a private VIP treatment room. Private health and fitness classes are available by reservation.

Sleepy Hollow is decidedly more spooky tonight than it was yesterday.

In this elaborate, hugely popular walk-through experience, see more than 7,000 illuminated jack o' lanterns, all designed and individually hand-carved on site by our team of artisans.

Climb aboard Sleepy Hollow’s annual Haunted Hayride and hold onto your head! All seems well when you board your hay wagon in the brightly lit streets of downtown Sleepy Hollow. Rumbling off into the dark you realize too late you are heading down the Albany Post Road past the Old Dutch Church, following exactly Ichabod Crane’s flight from the Headless Horseman. Then you’re through a set of iron gates and the wagon slips into the dark woods of the hollow. Clattering across a wooden bridge, you start to hear shrieks and the sound of hoofbeats...

Historic Philipsburg Manor transforms into a terrifying landscape ruled by vampires, witches, undead soldiers, ghouls, and ghosts, all serving the Headless Horseman himself! This is Sleepy Hollow’s premier haunted attraction, right in the heart of the village. Stocked with professional actors and state-of-the-art special effects, Horseman’s Hollow has a very high fear factor.

Kuzco lasted exactly three seconds before running screaming from the house...and then all the way back to the hotel.

Well, he got pretty winded about 50 feet down the road, but the thought was there.

There are dozens to choose from! May we suggest Main Street Sweets, Sunset Cove, or Tarry Tavern?

Though heavy on the headless kitsch, there are lots of fun shops to poke your head into in both Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown. Try out Bella's Boutique, the Philipsburg Manor Gift Shop, Flying Fingers Yarn Shop, or a Nu Toy Store.

There are definitely hoofbeats as you walk home tonight, but nothing to see when you turn around.

I might be entirely too excited the hotel website updated their hotel menus tonight.
