Monday would be the last, most spectacular day of the Dinosaur Olympics. That was why, all through Monday, brachiosaurus busses were available to take anyone from Fandom up to Treetown.

Upon arrival in Treetown - which, true to its name, was a place of high trees and huts - visitors would be escorted to Cornucopia to witness the two events of the day: the Ring Riding and the Skybax Air Jousting. Come, enjoy!

Arrival in Treetown

The city of Treetown is home to a training camp for youngsters trying to get along better with dinosaurs. It's made up of buildings built directly into the large trees, with many ladders and stairs heading up, rope bridges, and other feats of vertical engineering.

After his earlier discussion with Kanan, Peter could hardly skip out on meeting the dinosaurs. Though hopefully these weren't eating anyone.

He had to admit, the brachiosaurus bus was pretty damn cool. The natives seemed amused by his awe, and struck up a teasing conversation with him that was the most social interaction he'd had in a while.

By the time he got to treetown, he was a bit overwhelmed and tired, but in a better way than he had been lately. He also wasn't entirely sure he hadn't been adopted.

As if anyone would be shocked to find Ada and her love of heights in Treetown, testing those feats of vertical engineering to their limit.

She'd move on to the games soon enough, but she was going to take a bit to just enjoy being high.

In this event, teenagers race on Deinocheiruses on a wide track. Four groups race, with two facing off at a time.

This seemed a little dangerous, but then the dinosaurs seemed to be much smarter than horses, so maybe not.

It was fun to watch, anyway. Though Peter wasn't even going to attempt to bet on these races, even if they'd take his money.

Dinosaur Olympics! - Skybax Jousting

More experienced adult riders compete in this event, where two swooping Skybaxes must face off against one another. The riders get padded sticks and parachutes; the first one to fall off loses.

Mingle and Eat!

There are plenty of snacks on sale near the stands. If you're tired of watching the dinosaur events, you might want to retreat here to try some local delicacies and old favorites - there's a lot of fruit.

Peter wasn't going to eat, but the local tea was pretty good. And the people were pretty friendly. So he was just going to sit here and people-watch.
