SPRING BREAK, Cyseal, Tuesday Evening

As night falls, so does the temperature, but the tavern is warm, and so is the light from the bonfires dotted here and there, for those who choose to linger around the town or venture back out after a nice hearty supper. (Mmm, cheese bread, beef stew and apple pie.)

Cyseal - Outside Cyseal

The gate to the beach is left open tonight, so anyone who wishes to take a walk there can do what they want. Of course, travel too far north, and there are caves housing some angry orcs. Which are large. And very angry. They're smart guys with big muscles that take more than a few punches to go down, though like almost all enemies around here, they're simply armed with swords and clubs. They are also hostile, and will attack on sight.

Stay away from the caves, and you might bump into just the one: a peaceful orc, busier burying the armor of a loved one than paying any heed to anyone rummaging around. Best to leave him alone, and perhaps go see if there is buried treasure elsewhere, since he appears to be having trouble finding a clear spot.

Laura hadn't killed anything in a while. That was a good thing... but also kind of a bad one. The itch for violence was too ingrained in her to just let go so easily. So off to the caverns with her, she had the scent already on her nose and full into predatory mode.

Outside the cave, Laura scouted around a bit before walking straight in.
