Cyseal, Sunday Evening
There were many universes where the locals had never even heard of a portal, let alone seen one; Rivellon was not one of them. When Fandom's portal lit up, it was in broad starlight, on a specially-prepared pedestal not far from the King Crab Inn. The portal would remain, permanently locked in its place, for the duration of their stay and then some - much like several others that dotted around the landscape.
They were met at the portal by a representative of the Inn, and a small white tomcat, who watched them curiously before skittering off.
The telepathic among you might have even heard it mumbling something along the lines of, "How curious!"
It was too dark out for a proper tour, though, so the guests were swiftly escorted to the warmth of the King Crab Inn. Settle in today, kids. The real fun begins tomorrow.

And he couldn't help but be curious either. He'd only been stuck on the damn island since he'd been punted to this place so the thought of seeing another place was enough to de-grump him for a little while.
He dropped his stuff on one of the beds and sat down, back to the door to decompress.

Isabela on the other hand wasn't. It was warm! Isabela had almost forgotten what warm felt like, and even if this place wasn't Thedosian, it was close enough to ease some of the homesickness she wasn't feeling.
She happily flung herself on the nearest bed. She'd unpack in a minute, then go exploring.

To himself, by and large; he was not yet aware of who his roommate would be, or her whereabouts.
Whatever the case, he collapsed on a soft surface almost immediately, let out a sigh, and curled up.

Steve was over the moon to be here, and was doing his best impression of a hyperactive, overgrown golden retriever puppy as he tried to see everything in the room all at the same time.

His daughter just stuck her tongue out at him.
Sigh. The price he paid for having a wife being forced to cover the South Carolina primaries.
Room 109
He came in and found a suitable surface on the desk, set the bag down carefully, and unzipped it to take out a human skull engraved with runes and symbols.
"This is your room."

"Does this mean I shouldn't have brought crop tops?" It was an important question.
Room 123
Once she was done she'd do some exploring and check out the same stuff for the rest of the Inn.
Re: King Crab Inn - Room 122
Which was actually kind of interesting. Having a clear head for the first time in a week, and a problem to consider (not that her roommate had asked for any help), was a nice change of pace.
Gave her something to do.
King Crab Inn - Common Room
Re: King Crab Inn - Common Room
Or rather, he was going to be fine. Two days in Limbo City? Whatever. He'd snagged a bottle of wine, and now he was stretched out in a booth, one half of the curtains closed.
Booze, then loads of sleep. Then he'd be fine.
Re: King Crab Inn - Common Room
Mostly she was playing with the cat whenever he came around though.

Outside the Inn
But there's place to sit right outside the inn, and a large fountain still clatters on peacefully within sight. There's room, if you prefer to sit out here, and the night skies are incredibly clear here.

He hoped there were big monsters to hit.
