Indiana Dunes State Park- Sunday morning

It was the last morning in Indiana, and also Easter! Happy Easter, those that are into that kinda thing! It's 63 and mostly sunny, and if you got up early enough you might still have time to do one of the easier trails, and then it's time to take down the tents and pack up.

It's been a good trip, and you survived. Time to pack it in, boys and girls. You can take more sand with you as a souvenir since it'll be in your shoe anyway.

Taking down the tents was sooo much easier, and a little cathartic. Even if it was a little hard to get everything taken down because Rook kept coming to see what she was doing that was so interesting.

The big trails are out today, but if you'd like to get some time in on the easy Heron Rookery Trail or the moderate Pinhook Bog Trail, you've got time! Same for the beach. Remember to keep your dogs on leashes.

Jessica was getting out onto the trails one more time she was totally all over them yesterday before they left. It wasn't tough with her spider-powers, and in fact she was actually thinking of taking a couple laps. Or maybe she might wander into that restricted area. The options were open.
