The boat was back at sea and headed toward Cabo, and for your entertainment, the Love Boat's benevolent Cruise Director had decided that tonight would be Costume Night! Yes, it was time to break out costumes for your favorite meta 70's television characters! Or you could rent them from the Gift Shoppe - bellbottoms and plaid come in all sizes, you know!

You could also boggle at what your shipmates are wearing, or try to drink the colors out of your mind. If nothing else, you could keep an eye out for a certain blonde character and see if Anakin started twitching. There were all kinds of possibilities for entertainment tonight!

Dinner is held in the oh my god so very Coral Room on Riviera Deck. You'll be seated at a table of six, the better to make a love connection throughout the evening. To assist (somehow...) there's Live Mariachis on board tonight. You lucky, lucky things.

Clint headed to the Starlight Lounge with Kitty and quickly got himself a drink. "You know, if I'd known how this trip was going to turn out, I'm not so sure I would have agreed to come with you," he teased.

Tired from his trip earlier, Ronan was perfectly happy to slouch comfortably against the bar, drink in hand. He was starting to miss his car.

Another day, another disco. Elsa could have made her way down to the shore, but she was at the part of the cruise where she didn't entirely trust herself to get back on the boat without some coaxing, and so she'd made her way down to take in the entertainment for the day all over again.

She was sort of learning to love disco, and today she'd even ventured away from the bar to give a few of the dance moves a try. Some of them seemed to involve a lot of hip motions, and, well, Elsa actually had the hips for it. She'd even gotten so bold as to let her braid hang down across her back, and was almost considering going out later to try on some of the modern fashions. They were far less revealing than the fashions from the island, and leaned toward patterns that she thought were actually rather pretty.

... This wasn't her clinging to any possible distraction she could find, no. Why would anyone think that?

Anders didn't love disco quite as much as Elsa did, but there were drinks there and people to watch, and he'd done as much exploring in town as he felt like doing just then.

He accepted a pina colada with an enormous piece of pineapple on the rim before he looked around the crowd. Nothing too interesting: perms, afros, jumpsuits, shirts with floral patterns like his own ... and a girl with braided white hair who seemed to be keeping right up with the other dancers.

And then she turned and it was Elsa. He blinked, then smiled and made his way over to her, trying to bounce in time to the music without spilling his drink.

"I didn't know you danced," he said. "Hi."

"Hi," Elsa replied, nodding when she realized that it was Anders who was approaching her with a drink in his hand and an adorable floral shirt that she couldn't help but smile at. "I normally don't. I mean, I really, really don't. I'm not a dancer at all. But I've been watching them doing this for days now, and I finally decided... it looks like fun, you know? And that's what we're supposed to be out here for. Fun."

Not... all of that other mess that she was trying not to think too hard about, just yet.

"Have you tried it yet?"

"Fun?" Anders teased as he smiled back, knowing what Elsa meant but unable to resist the set-up. "Yes. A few times. Not in the disco yet but I'm always up for a new experience."

"Fun," Elsa confirmed, and so help her, she had to raise a - spitefully bare - hand to her mouth because if she didn't, she was going to just flat-out start laughing. So help her, Anders, teasing was just what she needed right now. "And disco. It's really very easy, if you have any sense of rhythm at all. It's all about just -"

She thrust a hip out and threw an arm into the air.

"- Being ridiculously over-dramatic, I think."

... It wasn't an inaccurate assessment.

"What, you don't always pose like a statue when you dance?" Anders asked, copying the same posture more or less in rhythm to the song (and managing not to poke anyone's eye out or spill his drink as he did). He hadn't been planning on dancing when he wandered into the disco, particularly, but it felt rude to be standing on a dance floor and not even try. "But I see what you mean. A lot of it's not too different from the way people dance at school, either."
