Rorikstead, Skyrim, Wednesday morning

Cold enough for you? Well, you only have to endure one more day of working and helping the poor dragon-sieged folks before moving on to places without dragons (at least, as far as you know...) so everyone out of bed! Breakfast on delicious mammoth steaks! Help the people of Rorikstead rebuild!

Or hide under the covers. We'll only judge a little.

Anders would get up and go help with the construction. Eventually. Right now it was cold, and bed was warm, and he was going to stay right where he was as long as he could.

He drowsily half-opened his eyes, decided he didn't like the light, and shut them closed tightly again.

Today seemed like a perfect day for curling up by the common room fireplace, sipping hot spiced wine and taking advantage of the wifi (thanks, Barry) to watch Tired Valley on her phone. Alana always appreciated a good fish-out-of-water story.

Flick wasn't really feeling like doing anything but sitting in a comfortable chair and relaxing. He'd grabbed some fruit for breakfast and was kicked back, listening to the bard and contemplating getting up and doing something more productive.

Nah.

After spending time on a roof yesterday, Barry opted for hauling stones. You know. For the variety.

After sleeping in, Anders found his way to the construction site. He ended up helping with the walls, which he didn't mind -- the plaster and paint were much easier to deal with than heavy stones had been.

He hummed a song he'd picked up from the bard at the Inn to himself as he worked.

Nathan had done a lot of hiking yesterday so today he felt like he should help out. Stone lifting wasn't a strong suit but he did his best to help where he could. He did have a lot of endurance.

Since the wall seemed to have plenty of people working on it, Johnny decided to help out with the roof. Of course, first he had to talk Lemkil into letting him help, but once that was squared away with some of the old Storm charm ("Come on, man, I just want to help out. I'll even just mix the tar or whatever it is you need.") Johnny was hard at miserable work.

Cosette had actually enjoyed the adventure of working on the roof yesterday, enough so that she was up on this roof again today and singing cheerfully so long as she had the spare breath to do so.

Kitty was hard at work on the roof today, though she kept offering to help fix up anything else that needed to be done if that would be better. But until he came up with something, she'd be learning herself some roofing skills.

Rorikstead - Take A Hike In The Area

All right, Edward was going to go for a walk. And walk he did, at least for some measure of time - that's about when he got bored with all the flowers and the rocks and the pretty little everythings and got distracted by the sight of a bandit encampment.

He had intended just to lurk out there for a bit (in outrage, of course) before taking off-- but then he'd spent five seconds too long thinking about their loot and how terrible and illegal it was that they'd likely taken all of that from poor travelers, and they'd noticed him.

He escaped. Eventually.

You should see the other guy.

Travis had done a lot of helping the past few days so today he decided to head out and take a look around. He'd bundled himself into a jacket and yanked up the hood which was keeping him warm enough while he found his way around the cold area.
