Bali [Monday afternoon and evening, February 24, 2014]

Is everyone ready for a night of partying? Good, becuase Bali is the stop for drunken expat college students making poor choices other people who feel the same way! Or you can go out and savor a wonderful meal--Bali has become a foodie destination ever since excellent chefs realized how amazing it would be to live here full time and never have to return to somewhere full of cold, damp weather.

If she was going to balk at his jokes, it was absolutely not okay for her to make some of her own. Really.

"... none at all?" Eleanor said, completely unable to resist. "I had no idea it was an all-female show. Where will you be depositing yours for the evening?"

"I will be keeping it in my pants," Joker told her. "As will, hopefully, the performers. It does seem to be failing to stay out of the conversation, though."

"I blame the sculptures," Eleanor said, taking a few slow steps away from that particular stall. "I vote that we find our way to the food, and you tell me about this show we're going to be watching. That ought to help."

"That would be a wonderful idea, if it weren't for the fact that I don't know anything about the show. ...I mean, apart from that it's going to be here, at 8, and is apparently cultural."
