The Fandomites' fourth full day of vacation was a bit cloudy, but still an okay 73°F – and really, even if it hadn't been, there would've been more than enough indoor activities to make up for it.

As it was, the estate continued to be helpful and eager to make the stay enjoyable. Time to have another great day!

Emma thought about it, though not particularly hard, since it was a very nice jacket.

"Deal," she said. "Though someone else will have to put up bail."

"I'll take care of the bail."

Somehow. Or maybe he'd just hang out in jail for awhile. But, the deal was made so Flick was thinking of other things now.

To start with, he took off the jacket he'd been wearing and passed it over to Emma since he'd want it back when he got done. Then, he slipped into the fitting room and actually put the jacket on.

Tight fit. Without a doubt but he got it on without ripping anything so that was a start. Now, time to get it out of the store. There were a few options. He could just do the snatch and dash and hope to outrun any security which was risky. Or he'd go with a diversion and somehow cause a scene with another customer.

In the end, Flick went with causing a diversion but not with one customer. With all the customers. He burst out of the fitting room and shouted, "Rat! Rat!" He pointed at the fitting rooms with both hands, acting petrified.

Most people didn't like rats so there were screams and shrieks and people started running for the door. It was very easy to just slip into that mass of people and slip right on out the door.

He'd be waiting across from the shop in an alley there. In that jacket. That was way too tight.

Emma joined the mass exodus, Flick's jacket draped over one arm.

After taking a moment to figure out were she'd hide out after leaving, she headed towards the alley. "I take it back, that's a good look for you."

No, it wasn't.

"Oh yeah, I'm a real supermodel," Flick joked, already trying to get the jacket off. It wasn't that easy considering it wasn't his size. "But, I made it work, didn't I?"

"You did," Emma agreed. "Rats is a new one."

An effective one, she'd have to remember that.

"It was that or setting off the sprinklers somehow and screaming fire," he said, finally sliding the jacket off and passing it to her. "Figured fake rats would at least keep the jacket intact."

He handed her the jacket since it was hers now. "Deal's a deal. This is yours."

Emma handed his jacket back while she took her new one and tried it on. Hey, he'd even picked out the right size.

"How's it look?"

"Very nice," he said, sliding his much more comfortable and correctly sized jacket back on and pulling it around him. "You look good."

She did. Leather suited her.

"Leather's a definite good look for you."

And yet the costume department had stopped putting her in it.

"I'll take your word for it," Emma said, adjusting the collar and cuffs. Since there weren't any handy mirrors in the alley.

Regardless of how it looked, it was comfortable enough that she could get very used to wearing it.

"You should. I'm a very honest person."

Ignore that he'd just stolen a jacket. And barely said that with a straight face. Sometimes, he was honest!

"And now, no one has to visit me in jail. I've been in a cell before. Definitely not what it looks like on television. No fun at all in there."

"Oh, completely trustworthy," said the girl in possession of stolen goods.

"Definitely an experience to avoid then."

"Hey, you must trust me somewhat," he noted, tucking his hands into his pockets and shrugging. "You're an accomplice to my crime and didn't seem to care at all."

No one had tried to pull a bounty on him.

"And I gave you my jacket so maybe it goes both ways." Because it was a good jacket.

"It's not like you were holding anyone up." It was practically a victimless crime!

"Besides yours is too big for me." And then where would they have been? With stolen jackets that didn't fit.

"I only hold up people when I really want something."

Which meant never because he didn't really care for weapons.

"But, at least I know what your limit is now. No holding up people in front of Emma unless you wanna end up in jail. That's an entry for my diary later."

"But I'll still visit you in jail if you get caught for something else, because I'm nice like that."

"Aww, how sweet," Flick cooed, snickering. "See, and I'll just let my ego get the best of me if that happens and think you're visiting because you miss me."

Ego and all.
