Göcek, Wednesday Evening

Our travelers will be spending the evening moored at Göcek. A seaside farming village rapidly developing into the top yachting center of Turkey, Göcek lies in a valley surrounded by hills on three sides. Just two blocks from the promenade by the sea, houses still have little gardens where residents grow all kinds of vegetables, from tomatoes to eggplants, and the sidewalks are covered with orange, tangerine, grapefruit and lemon trees. The green panorama of the city is further accented by the ever-present pine trees along the hills. It's not exactly the rollicking night life of our first evening in Turkey but after two nights of quiet coves, having a choice of restaurants and clubs is nice, right?

Bucky stumbled out of the cabin, yawning and scratching. He hadn't actually been asleep for the past three days straight, but you would have been hard-pressed to find a time when he'd left the cabin for more than a few minutes.

He stared out across the sea and growled. "Hey! There's water out there! A LOT of it! What kind of cruise is this?!?!? That is NOT what I signed up for!!! I'll sue!!!"

All meals aboard ship (and your sunset drinks) are served in the dining room and saloon on the main deck of your gulet. The night life is out there, but maybe you'd rather be in here, starting your own party!

Josh wasn't ready to start his own party, but he did have an excellent dinner, a view of the stars, and a beer in his hand.

His job, as he saw it, was to make sure none of the kids drowned by falling off the boat and to bail them out of jail if they got stupid on shore. While they were gone, he'd enjoy his vacation, thanks.

The Adivar is especially popular with those passionate about dancing. This Göcek nightclub serves a wide range of local and imported drinks as well as exotic cocktails.

Cade wasn't passionate about dancing at all, but he was pretty passionate about the girls (and their tiny skirts) who were passionate about dancing.

He weird bright green chair to sit in as he drank something too expensive and too sweet, but the view was worth it.

Now, Natalie could have claimed knowing that people wouldn't expect her to show up at a nightclub had nothing to do with why she was here... But she would have been lying. So it was probably for the best that she had no intention of justifying her presence to any familiar faces she might run into while she was here.

Because here she was, in a dress, talking to some people but mostly just watching. She was very good at watching.

Okay, fine, Atton had finally gotten bored of sitting around the ship.

Instead he'd be here, sitting around the bar, drinking slowly and talking to any girl who gave him a moment's attention.

So. Maddie learned pretty much immediately that she was not really a nightclub kind of girl. She got a drink, thinking at least she could feel like she didn't totally stick out here, and told herself that she would stay only as long as the drink lasted.

Surely that was a good idea.

The cafe offers friendly, reliable service and serves a large range of high quality dishes from world cuisine. West Cafe also provides free internet connection to all guests and has one computer on site. Try not to stampede it.

On Shore - Blue Restaurant and Bar

This local restaurant offers traditional Turkish and contemporary Mediterranean style cuisine along with cocktails, drinks and snacks which can be enjoyed in the relaxed cafe area. Oh, and bellydancing. Try not to stampede *that* either.
