Akumal Beach Resort - Wednesday - Room Post

All the rooms giving to the Fandom High party are on the second floor of the building facing the main pool.

All the rooms have balconies, air conditioning, and two double beds.  (Except for the chaperones who can either choose to have two double beds or one king size.)

Also, apparently, a swan.

The chaperone and student rooms are interspersed (much to everyone's disappointment, I'm sure)

Tink stopped, horrified, her suitcase falling to the ground.

This was unbearable! They should upgrade to a suite immediately! There was no Jacuzzi here! ... Was there a Jacuzzi? She would check the bathroom. One moment.

"Seriously, we need a jacuzzi" he was just getting crankier as he ripped open the curtains to see the pool. "Okay, maybe if there were more chicks down there it wouldn't be all bad."

Were there cabana boys? Tink would forgive a lot for cabana boys. Also, they were near the end, and not expected to pay attention to the students, were they? If the students couldn't get drunk or get laid in Mexico, then how could she possibly help them?

"Tink, this is a free vacation," the disdain was dripping from his voice. "There are stupid teenagers here. I plan to ignore them, get drunk as fast as possible and stay that way for the duration."

No, silly, he misunderstood. If the stupid teenagers couldn't get themselves laid in Mexico, then they were clearly beyond anyone's capacity to help. So she shouldn't waste her time. That meant her duties as a chaperone were officially considered over.

(It did not occur to Tink that her duties as a chaperone could possibly be other than "help the stupid teenagers get laid.")

In the meantime they had this lovely room! And liquor. She had heard there was a lot of liquor in Mexico. She had brought extra, just in case.

"I brought a case of scotch," he said, obviously impressed that they shared the same priorities. "You never know there's going to be a hurricane or El Nino will come and remove access to our drink of choice."

And she had absinthe! And the nice thing was, if they drank all of it, they would have room to take some back! And if they didn't they could buy more suitcases, but really What were the odds of that?

... And of course she had a suitcase full of her beauty products because it would not do for her to not look her 100% best.

Barney wasn't sure he wanted to know what Tink looked like without her makeup. It might ruin his view of her as being hot.

They absolutely should. Because Tink was somewhere warm and sunny and Tink was sober, and one of those things was very good indeed and the other sucked ass.
