School Trip to Six Flags America, Wednesday, Causeway & Beyond

As handwavy posters around the school and dorms had announced, today was the day for the last Student Council activity of the school year: A trip to Six Flags.

At the insistence of certain council members not named Quinn Fabray, it was even open to all students and not just to seniors.

The bus was at the causeway bright and early in the morning. Rides, food and shows awaited.

While Annie was really happy to be going on the trip, she was also barely keeping down the urge to just start hugging everyone and not stop until graduation. Well, except for the people she didn't like. She wouldn't miss them.

And if she was checking out a printed map from the website so she'd know exactly where she was going when she got there, well, she was a little psycho sometimes.

Really, she was just wondering why she hadn't thought of it first, even if some people might think it was a little psycho.

The closest thing to an amusement park Toby'd ever been to was one of those travelling fairs that hit town during the summer. So, yeah, of course he was here, bouncing a little on the heels of his feet as he waited.

Miley hadn't been to an amusement park since the time she'd gone with her dad and his girlfriend, and hadn't that been a nightmare. Somehow she thought an actual senior trip would be way, way more fun than trying to police how loudly her dad yelled during the downhill parts of roller coasters.

So somehow she'd managed to squeeze out a five-hour block during which she wasn't otherwise occupied with Skype interviews or packing her things, and here she was, armed with a fanny pack and a ton of sunscreen and a super-mega positive attitude. Because that was what one did when they went to Six Flags, okay?

Ender had come along... mostly to support his adrenaline junkie boyfriend. By himself, he was looking only slightly out of place; his mind would probably be on other things today.

But he might grab a nice, familiar nigh-tasteless snack food dinner.

Dave couldn't wait to get to the park. Frankly, the best amusement park he had back home was 1981's Mariott's Great America. It wasn't even owned by Six Flags yet! That was BS.

Surely, modern amusement parks had to be way better.

Stacey, a freshman who totally appreciated being able to come, thank you other members of Student Council!, was looking forward to a fun kind of field trip. And when she took a seat on the bus to go over there, she was maybe on the lookout for cool people to invite to sit next to her.

As a Skywalker, it was pretty much required that he be an adrenaline junkie, so if you were looking for Ben, he was in line for the roller coasters.

Sometimes he had a funnel cake with him because eating properly was important to him.
