Hotel in Alexandria: New Year's Eve

The hotel was dressed up to the nines to welcome in the new year. From the ball room to the formal garden overlooking the ocean, everywhere was awash in new year's celebrations.

There was plenty of room to party, and plenty of rooms for when the partying was done. Add that to the open bar, and it might be one heck of an interesting night.

The front doors are wide open and the lobby's got plenty of space to mingle and chat before moving further into the hotel.

Don't feel like dancing just yet? There's a fully stocked bar, with helpful and attentive bar staff, ready to serve you, and a large lounge area, with chairs and couches, and ~~moddable~~ waiters bearing trays of ~~moddabble~~ nibblies.

It's a dancefloor - actually, it's a formal ballroom, but all that matters is it's great for dancing, and there's plenty of room.

It's coming up to midnight, and it wouldn't be New Year's without fireworks.

Head out into the gardens to watch them burst out over the water while you countdown to midnight.

Billy didn't believe he'd ever celebrated New Years before. This would be interesting.

Jack was here, looking for fun.

John was wearing his best suit, looking to schmooze with old friends. And looking for one in particular.

River slipped through the doors quietly, glancing around the room. There was one reason she was here; the dance floor.

Plenty of room suited River fine, and she took the opportunity to use what was available of it. When she started, she was the only one on the floor.

Annette was dressed nicely and ready to have a good time. She was determined to have a good time.

New Years Eve was all about the bubbly and nibbling and mingling. And before she was going to dance, Annette was going to enjoy the bubbly. Having a glass, then two, she took her third and sat down on a comfortable couch, content to watch the party going on.

Adam had taken the time to dress up, after all, it was New Years and it was a party.

Tori had received the invitation and was only too happy to attend the party. It was a party after all!

Having grabbed a drink for herself, Tori spotted a familiar head of blond hair and made her way over.

Hey, she was mingling, okay?

Grinning, she stopped behind Annette. "Now, what's a gorgeous girl like yourself doing, sitting all alone over here?" Why yes, Tori was teasing. Mostly.

Naomi had gotten back to Fandom in time to attend the New Year's Eve party so she was there and looking forward to having a good time.

This had to be a vast improvement over the last New Year's ball she'd attended, since there weren't any megalomaniacs in attendance who were plotting to kill her. Well, at least none she knew about.

Grinning, Anemone practically skipped through the doors. She'd opted to leave her ballgown aboard the Izumo, since this didn't sound as formal as she was used to, but she was still looking pretty darn good (http://pics.livejournal.com/death_of_hope/pic/0001z3ka), if she did say so herself.

Barbossa was there, looking to get drunk, hit on inappropriate people and start a fight.

What? For him, that was a traditional New Year's.

Billy would be glad to help with that. "Well hello there." he smiled. "Happy New Year."

"John! How are ya?"

Billy was almost reluctant to get in her way by joining the fun.

Robin was dressed for a night on the town baby!

Robin gaped a bit. "Wow Anenome you look beautiful!"
