The deluxe beach view rooms (http://www.copacabanapalace.com/web/orio/deluxe_beach_view_rooms.jsp) have stunning views of the world-famous Copacabana Beach and some feature Juliet-style balconies. All have king or twin beds, en-suite bathrooms which feature a bath with shower, air conditioning and high-speed internet for those students who would get twitchy without it. Peter.

Luke had listened to Kate and stopped drinking because that wouldn't solve his problems. He just didn't start listening until a couple hours later and he was more than a little drunk.

It took a couple tries for him to actually get the room door open but he managed it and wandered into the room as quietly as he could. With no shirt on. Tony's fault.

By that time, Percy was already asleep. He wasn't a heavy sleeper so he could hear Luke coming in and he sat up to grouchily yell at him when he saw what he was wearing. Now, he was grouchy and a little warm.

The good news was that Dave wasn't seriously injured. His shoulder was merely impinged, mostly from all the paddling he had been doing on the surfboard while having poor stabilizing muscles, apparently.

The bad news was that this meant his shoulder was throbbing a little when he wasn't doing anything and hurting a lot when he actually used it. Even worse was the fact that the prescribed treatment was to keep it mobile, but not so mobile that he was in a lot of pain. So, basically, trial and error.

He was pretty sure he was just going to mark down 'surfing' as something he would never try again.

It was probably best for pale redheads to stay out of the sun, so Ryan was taking advantage of the evening hours to enjoy the pool.

She'd been steadily getting stronger since feeling so miserable on Sunday. Perhaps tomorrow she would get to do a lot more than just resting.

This place was gorgeous. Quinn didn't have a fake ID, but an older boyfriend was almost as good. She was eyed the local girls as she watched the dance floor, trying to decide if her outfit measured up.

After the partying all night for the first three nights of the trip, Seifer decided to stick close to the hotel tonight.

Especially since he still wasn't sure who he went home with last night. It had been fun though, at least that was he was assuming from the amount of glitter on him still.

Stacey had had a good date today, and she was more than happy to get out and hang out with people tonight. It didn't even bother her that she couldn't drink, since she'd die if she did. No, not really.

She got a nice diabetes-friendly drink and tried not to tap her foot too obnoxiously to the music.

These days Cara herself wasn't entirely sure how old she actually was, and she didn't have real or fake ID in any case, but she'd been over eighteen at one point and was able to convince the bartender to give her a drink.

It probably helped that they hadn't exactly been looking at her face tonight.

Located in a renovated warehouse in the edge of Lapa, Rio Scenarium (http://www.rio-carnival.net/Store/ToursDetails.aspx?cod=283) is an antique store-gone-bar-night club. All the items you see are part of an inventory and many of its props have been used on movie sets. Head up to the second floor and you’ll even find the find contents of an old fashioned pharmacy, furniture, carriages and many more items. This lovely building is the perfect setting for traditional Brazilian samba and chorinho. The acoustics are excellent and the tables centered around the stage and dance floor give everybody a great view. The caipirinhas are the drink of choice and the snack menu offers better-than-average munchies.

This place had been on Annie's list of things she had to do, and she wasn't disappointed. Even being eighteen she skipped drinking because that led to things like painting your nails with maple syrup and Rilla wasn't even here, but she was having so much fun listening to the music and looking around.
