Leaving San Diego and coming home to Fandom!

Make sure your bags are packed, that you've got your shiny medal and get into the bus! Mocking of Rancho Carne totally allowed. Ahem. The bus is waiting outside the hotel and it's the same as they arrived with. Same driver, even. We leave at 14:00. 2-ish.

Tori arrived at the bus, awake and cheerful. Her bags were packed and she was ready to go home after a fun weekend.

Chad had gotten back to the hotel with just enough time to gain his bearings and adjust to the fact that he was back in the States and heading back to Fandom. He might be a little more remorseful about leaving Mexico if he didn't have one hell of a hangover.

Despite the nice weather, he was wearing a new leather jacket he'd picked up cheap while still on the other side of the border along with a new shirt, because he never did find out what happened to the other one (thank God it wasn't the pink shirt). Despite the length of the jacket's sleeves, Chad kept pulling on them, as if they weren't long enough to cover up his new tattoo (http://senor-chado.livejournal.com/16094.html?#cutid1).

"Meat ranch," Z muttered as she climbed aboard the bus. The stuffed Jawa was now accompanied by several stuffed orcas, though the orcas were in a shopping bag instead of her backpack. "It means meat ranch."

Annette's in a great mood when she shows up at the bus. Her bags are packed and she's ready to get back home. She could have lived in the warm weather just a little while longer but soon enough spring will come to Fandom.

To say that Buffy was much bouncier now than when they'd arrived would be a serious understatement. She was grinning non-stop. This weekend had gone much better than she'd predicted even in her wildest dreams.

D'anna waited until the absolute last minute to finish tossing her gear into her rucksack and travel case, she'd spent too much time site seeing and day dreaming.

Which is why she ran all the way down from the lobby to the bus.

It might explain why she didn't see that puddle where someone's kid had split some water on the third marble step from the bottom.

And why her feet slipped out from under her at exactly the wrong time.

And why her head met the sixth step up with such a nice, sickening thud.

And why it took her two full minutes to get back up.

Stupid kids. Stupid her being last out to the bus.

It took longer than she meant it, but she did make it to the bus on time.
