Camden Yards, Sunday afternoon

It's the Baltimore Orioles vs. the Cleveland Indians!

Get your peanuts, Cracker Jacks or a hot dog then sit back and enjoy the game.

[ooc: Yes this is last night's game. It's a magical Fandom time and location thing (since the game was played in Cleveland). Please wait for the OCD are up! Play ball!]

Anders settled down in his seat with a hot dog in each hand, a giant soda in front of him, a bag of peanuts, a box of Cracker Jacks, and his baseball glove at his feet. He also had a twelve-pack of different-colored pens to steal Willow's schtick and a clipboard with a set of scorecards (http://www.baseballscorecard.com/downloads/pcscorecard.pdf) on his lap. Who, him? Prepared?

Nah.

Even if he was getting slightly odd looks for being decked out in Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Angels gear at Camden Yards.

Peter took his seat, drank his soda quickly, and placed the empty cup in front of a seat in the next row. Then he opened his bag of cheap, bought-outside-the-stadium peanuts and prepared to toss some peanut shells into the cup. He always enjoyed this game.

Sawyer had always liked Baseball and he wanted to drag Temperence along with him so that he didn't look like a geek in his baseball shirt for the Orioles alone. He had plopped an Orioles hat on her head to make her look the part.

Anders's tongue was poking out of the corner of his mouth as he scored the game between pitches. "Base on balls . . . yay, blue pen! E-6, that's the red pen . . . Geez, frak, guys, you get the guy to third on a gift, practically, and leave him there?"

"Three up, three down," Anders announced, happily marking out the rest of that inning's column in red pen on his Indians scorecard before switching to the Orioles one. "I completely approve."

Anders glared at the three groundouts as he marked them down. "This makes my scorecard so boring."

This half of the inning, Anders got to use more pens. He was quite happy about this, but mostly happy that he didn't have to use his green pen to color in any of the little diamonds for a run scored.

"I love smallball when it's working right," Anders said cheerfully. Three diamonds to color in green! Yay!

He might've been bouncing in his seat just a bit as he colored the diamonds in, yes.

"Gah," Anders grumbled, coloring in a green diamond on the Cleveland side of his scorecard. "At least nobody was on base."

Given his Red Sox partisanship, though, he wasn't actually grudging the home run too much; Shoppach had come up in the Boston farm system and played at Fenway a bit last year, after all.

By the time Belliard got to third, though, he was panicking a little. Thankfully, Martinez struck out and Anders remembered he could breathe again.

"I love a two-out rally," Anders said happily as he colored in four more green diamonds and made careful notes at the bottom of his scorecard. "Sorry, Sowers, but those last two runs are still going against you, buddy. Thanks!"

"Aaaaaaaand another three up, three down inning!" By this time, Anders's scorecard had little arrows on it in orange ink to denote the path of the ball on all the plays, on top of exhaustive pitch count details and notes on the putouts.

"Look, I don't want to be doing the three-up three-down thing in this half of the inning, all right?" Anders complained. "Least they got some good wood on it."

I kind of seriously love you.

What degree of magical Fandom time are we talking about here? Are they still going to be gone all day, pretty much?
