Getting out into Coruscant [Friday afternoon into Saturday afternoon]

Anakin pointed out of one of the vaulted Temple windows towards the busy cityscape in front of them.



"And that is Coruscant. Clubs, restaurants, shopping, incredibly egotistical politicians, useless bureaucrats...it's all out there." He pointed to the nearest public transport pickup location. "Don't go lower than the mid-levels of Coruscant unless you're looking to disappear permanently," he warned. "There are a trillion beings on this planet, and it has a thriving underworld who are as ruthless as any you'll ever come across."

"So much eww," Anakin agreed. "It sounds pretty normal, too, which is where it can really get exciting at diplomatic functions."

He checked his chrono. "We need to be heading back to the Temple soon if we want to leave on time."

"Ah. Yeah," Rory said. "By the way, I owe Sam and Aeryn something. Should probably bring them back caf or something."

"Okay..." Anakin said, looking confused. He turned to the kitchen. "Hey, Dex? Any chance of two cafs to go?"

"Sure thing, kid," Dex said, putting them out on the counter. "You taking off on me?"

Anakin grinned. "Just for a while. Next time I'm back, I'll bring Obi-Wan. He'll be buying."

Rory raised a brow and, against her better judgment, shot Dex a wink as she headed out of the diner.
