"I love you," he murmured, during a moment that was absolutely not the end of it, but rather just a pause, for things like breathing and absolutely necessary expressions of adoration in words as well, and then he was kissing her again, until he pulled away again with a smile that refused to be tempered.
"And I," he noted, with a voice verging dangerously toward delighted, "should go shower. I'd hate to be the reason we might be tardy in getting thing started on our...itinerary."
