Award-winning, iconic, unforgettable. We're staying at the luxury resort Discovery Shores Boracay Island. Perfectly positioned in Station 1 of White Beach, experience the powder-soft white sand, fiery sunsets and pulsating nightlife of the world-famous Boracay Island. The 99-suite luxury resort is consistently listed in Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Hotels and has been awarded Best for Families (Asia) at the Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence 2018, which didn't entirely influence Zoe's choice for Spring Break this year, but definitely helped.

Boracay, called "The Best Island in the World" in 2012 by Travel + Leisure magazine, is the Philippines' top tourist draw, fuelled by explosive growth and a tsunami of hype. The influx of visitors caused the Philippines government to temporarily close Boracay to tourists for six months. This 'rehabilitation' period was used to restore the island to its former glory and it has since reopened with a limit on the number of daily visitors. The center of the action is dreamy White Beach, a 4km, postcard-perfect stretch of sand lined from one end to the other with hotels, restaurants, bars and dive shops several blocks deep. The beach path is typically awash with visitors. The ocean is full of romantic paraws (an outrigger sailboat) giving rides; colourful parasails fill the air. After perfect sunsets, live music breaks out, and fire dancers twirl their batons. Welcome, Fandom. Let's look around some tonight!

Students are in one bedroom suites, which include a spacious living area, a nook, a bar, and a separate bedroom with two double sized beds ~~or one king for whichever makes better RP~~. The L-shaped sofa in the living area doubles as a sleeping space for two additional guests for when your room parties have gotten a little too exuberant. The chaperones are in premier one bedroom suites: two story, two bathroom rooms with private Jacuzzis that the students are super duper not invited to try out. Kick back and enjoy room service and a movie, or put your stuff down and go out to explore!

There are a variety of restaurants to choice from without even having to leave the hotel in case portal travel has wiped you out. The Indigo Restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. Indigo Restaurant is one of the most popular restaurants on the entire island and featured three times in the Philippine Tatler’s Best Restaurants List. Indigo serves a highly seasonal menu using only the finest ingredients available from the bounties of land and sea. Its unparalleled wine program offers Indigo diners with Boracay’s best selection of wines by the glass, along with prestigious bottles of leading labels from old and new world wineries. This, admittedly, is probably only exciting to the chaperones.

Sands Restaurant, blessed with spectacular views of the ocean, perfectly capture the vibe of barefoot elegance that Discovery Shores is known for. Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast by the sea, linger over a late a la carte lunch, or feast on one of our boodle fight selections. With an enviable tradition of remarkably crafted dishes and impeccable service, the Sands Restaurant charts a sea of tastes for the palate to explore.

Forno Osterio, an Italian restaurant serving lunch and dinner, puts a Sicilian flair to its otherwise eclectic menu. Try the Charcuterie Platter or get a kick from our homemade linguine vongole – each element provides a generous serving of umami – while hearty specialties like the Arancini Alla Bolognese will surely tantalize the senses.

In case you need to run the kinks out of your back, Discovery Shores has a comprehensive, if small and not super-strength-reinforced, fitness facility.

Through specialized services, treatments, and facilities, Terra is the perfect haven for guest to float back to reality at their own pace after the treatment. And they're open until 11! Come get a back massage to unwind from the day of travel.

We're in time for a spectacular sunset! Enjoy it either on the hotel's pristine section of beachfront (and conveniently close to the Sand Bar and its happy hour specials, up on the Roof Lounge with its own infinity pool, Jacuzzi, and 360 degree view of the entire island, or ignore both of those in favor of the Discovery Shores pool on the ground level. It also has a poolside bar and butlers armed with inflatable toys and snacks. #winning.

You could sit on the strip of White Beach that the resort runs, but there are even more fire dancers out in the public areas, so grab a snack from one of the booths selling them and enjoy the show after the fantastic sunset.

Aplaya has a pretty great sunset-viewing spot, or you can try out any of the other restaurants on the island. Just let us know where you are.

We'll have time to go on a night cruise later on in the trip, so tonight is for exploring on your own. Try out one of the night clubs --even after the 2018 refresh, there are plenty of places to dance the night away. Maybe Once Upon a Time in Boracay, a combination movie club, art space and bar with giant Jenga and beer pong, is your kind of thing!

Oh, this was perfect. Lucifer had thrown his suitcase into his and Seivarden's room and immediately suggested they go here.

He missed beaches that were warm. He missed them very much. "I'll have a Sex on the Beach, please," he said by the Sand Bar, and then happily wandered back to the spot he'd picked out with his cocktail in hand.

Yes. This. He missed this. Enough that he'd even forgone a suit jacket and was sitting down on that beach in just a nice blue button-up (and trousers).

Steve, even after all of his time with Tony, never really got over the opulence of these vacations.

"We have a Jacuzzi," he said gleefully.

Ahhh, a vacation without Aphra being his roommate (which was actually kind of weird)! Anakin unpacked his bag quickly, looking forward to his single ~~lol~~.

Shuri was in a cute one-piece and had already flagged down a buler for an inflatable dolphin to swim on and some kind of umbrella drink to enjoy after she finished floating around.

Vacations were excellent.

Seivarden had picked a drink randomly from the menu, which had turned out to be a margarita. She sat down next to Lucifer, scooting close.

"I think being a chaperone will be worth this."

"Oh, you are in for one hell of a vacation, darling," Lucifer said, grinning brightly. Leaned a little against her, even, because he was in a good mood-- and maybe a little relieved at the sheer, breathtaking distraction of it all. "Nothing but beaches, sun, food, and excellent drinks for a week."

"So, any drinks you recommend?"

Seivarden leaned close for a quick kiss, grinning.

"Well, you already have a margarita," Lucifer said, stealing another kiss for good measure. "So we've at least covered your basics."

He took a sip of his own drink.

"After this... hm. What else is a stereotypical beach vacation drink? Ah - tequila sunrise."

"So, that one next," Seivarden said, taking a sip. "I'm guessing Summer might get some inspiration though. What are you having?"

She leaned against Lucifer, tilting her head against his shoulder.

"A Sex on the Beach," Lucifer said, grinning a little. "If one has to be tacky, at least be tacky during a tropical island getaway, is what I always say."

"Is that's really what it's called?"

Seivarden gave an amused snort.

"I mean, it was half-invented just to give people something to giggle about on the beach, I imagine," Lucifer said, winking as he took a sip of his drink.

Seivarden snorted again, then took another sip.

"The hotel room isn't too bad."

Lucifer had spoiled her when it came to hotel rooms.
