See? What did we tell you? Evening has arrived, and no chompy chompy death has yet befallen any of our travelers!¹ As the skies darken, the stars begin to glow overhead and the air cools down a bit, but it's still plenty warm enough to go walking around in shorts, tank tops and adorable safari hats because come on now. The bronto-- apato-- brontosauri brontosauruseses would be disappointed if you didn't adhere to the dress code. Nobody wants a sad bron-- apat-- thunder-lizard.

Jasper hadn't been out much today but the stargazing seemed quiet and simple. He wasn't really one to go out and see dinosaurs so he found his way here and settled in to watch and listen.

He'd gone for straight-up whiskey tonight, which meant he'd definitely have a hangover in the morning, but fuck it. He was alive tonight, right?

Atton was here more for the view than for the drinks, really. He got something with a ton of fruit juice mixed in, then settled near the railing.

It was a nice night to drink, brood, and maybe stare at some nocturnal Krayt dragons like he expected them to attack at any moment.

I'm also going to hold you responsible for my descent into madness going through all of my top 10 favorite cartoon themes as a kid, including the SWAT Kats one, which means I now want to fly a fighter jet.

I'm not sure how this connects to ducklings, beyond the fact I have now also earwormed myself with the song 'Guns Don't Kill Ducklings', but there you go.
