The day had come where Rio and Fandom had to part again, but at least they did so kindly: nice, warm weather and no clouds, a city that still buzzed with activity, and a beach that still held golden sands - and a whole lot of people.

Last chance for any quick forays into town, folks. Then it's time to pack up and get back home.

The deluxe beach view rooms have stunning views of the world-famous Copacabana Beach. The adults' rooms even feature Juliet-style balconies! All have king or twin beds, en-suite bathrooms which feature a tub with shower, air conditioning and high-speed internet for those students who would get twitchy without it. Peter.

At the poolside Pérgula Restaurant, guests can enjoy an extensive breakfast buffet, buffet or à la carte lunch and al fresco dinners in relaxed surroundings. Tables are available both in the air-conditioned restaurant, or on the terrace overlooking the legendary Copacabana swimming pool.

This sophisticated urban sanctuary has a contemporary design and features seven treatment rooms, two dual treatment suites, a fitness room, hair salon, sauna, steam bath and relaxation area.

The magnificent swimming pool at the Copacabana Palace has long drawn stars and royalty alike to sunbathe, swim and socialize. Everyone from Carmen Miranda to Rod Stewart has been seen soaking up the sun around the Copacabana pool, which is open 24 hours a day, and features no monkeys.

Steps away from the hotel is one of the most famous beaches in the world where it might not be relaxing to lay out and catch the sun's rays, but it will definitely never be boring.

Last chance for me to ramble about music! De Peel in Brand ('The Peel on Fire', about his childhood in the highly flammable Peel area of the country) and Koning Hay were two of my favorite Rowwen Heze songs growing up.

Since it might be his last chance for awhile, Percy was out of the room early and on the beach. He actually only stayed on the sand for a few minutes before he hit the water and started swimming and diving his way around in the waves.

When Luke didn't see Percy at all when he was packing up his stuff in the room, he hand only a handful of guesses as to where he could be. The beach had been the first place he checked.

He hadn't been in the ocean the entire week he'd been here and he wasn't looking to start going in now so he just sat in the sand and waited for Percy to notice him.

It took Percy awhile to notice since he tended to go into a different place when he was in the water. And even when he did spot Luke, he knew what the other boy was gonna try and he wasn't sure if he was ready for that yet.

So, he stayed in the water awhile longer, ducking under the water and stayed there for awhile, taking advantage of his natural power to breathe underwater.

Percy was about as subtle as a train wreck. Luke almost wanted to laugh at how ridiculous this was, but he was a little bit hurt, yeah.

He shook his head and got up, brushing the sand off himself before turning to leave. He could at least tell Kate he tried, but he wasn't about to put anymore effort into this. They could both just be miserable.

Hey, Percy liked the water, okay? He was taking advantage of it but even now he was at least swimming up towards the shore since he'd gotten his fill for the hour, at least.

"You just gonna watch me and leave?" he asked, still waist deep in the water but at least he was talking now.

"Who said I was watching you?" Luke asked, turning back around. "That's egotistical of you, it's a big beach with a nice view."

For his final meal of the trip, Bruce figured it was best to stay close so he didn't run the risk of missing the portal chasing monkeys again or something. What? It was a real risk.

So he hit the buffet, took a seat on the terrace, and enjoyed the view while waited to see if anything happened to cause a bizarre delay. You know. Like monkeys seeking vengeance.

Quinn had ordered room service for breakfast and was spending a lazy Sunday morning curled up with her laptop, shopping for shoes. She'd get out soon -- she owed the beach one last visit before they went home -- but right now, not doing anything felt pretty grand.

Cara would be glad enough to soon be out of this heat and back into her leathers, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to take advantage of one final opportunity to wander along the shoreline and through the shallows.

Tara got to the beach early enough that it wasn't too crowded and went for a long walk. She could almost pretend to be alone with the waves, and between that and the sun, she was pretty blissed out.

Yeah, right. Percy nearly rolled his eyes but crossed his arms instead.

"Were you watching me or something?" See, he could just ask.

Luke shrugged. "You weren't in the room when I was packing up. I was curious."

"And why didn't you check the nearest bookstore?" Percy joked, coming a little further out of the water.

"Bookstore was my next stop if you weren't here," Luke said, offering a brief smile before turning his head away slightly. He didn't need to be looking at Percy now that he was all wet and half naked up close.

"Why're you looking for me anyway?" Percy asked, staying in the water but at least having the courtesy to dip down to his neck. "I was gonna come back after a swim."

Luke shrugged again. "I don't know. Wanted to apologize or something, I guess."
