San Diego: Saturday: Competition!

The hotel was milling with people with a cheer business. Some had come to watch, some had come to compete and some had come to be all judging.

Despite painting Alec's nails in the wee hours of the morning, Buffy was still nervous as hell. It was a good nervous though. She gathered her people around her and tried to find a place for them to get ready. Everything she needed to hand in to the official people, she'd handed in. She didn't think she'd forgotten anything. So really, now it was just to remember the routine and everything would be perfect!

Wait for OCD OCD is up. *cough*

Kasey took note of the Fandom squad, becoming a tiny bit nervous. They were good, but she and the other members of the Toros squad had been practicing for, like ever. And they were a champion high school team. So, really, they should win.

Surprisingly, somewhere amid his mind being distracted by Mexico and his mind being distracted by all the cute girls in short skirts, Chad found a little bit of apprehension. He kinda missed Ted. He knew he wouldn't be nervous if he was in the audience, so...he just tried to picture that he was. That helped.

So did all the cute girls in short skirts, really.
