The Jedi Temple [Friday morning into Saturday afternoon]

"This is the Jedi Temple," Anakin said, gesturing. A few Jedi walking past gave him a curious look. Anakin blushed. "Um, obviously. We'll be staying here for the night. You're free to wander around and explore. Your rooms will be down this corridor," he pointed, "and mine is on the other side of the Temple with the rest of the Masters and Padawans. In your room you'll find comm units, maps, and translated lists of pretty basic words. Call me if you get lost, either in the Temple or out in Coruscant. It's a big planet and getting turned around is to be expected."

[OOC: Again, wait for the OCD... Post away! We'll be pre-playing through Friday to give everyone enough time to see everything they want to.]

"I. DON'T. WANNNNNNNNNA!"

The Jedi with the youngling rolled her eyes. "It's just a haircut, Ryn. It grows back."

"It's a stupid haircut," Ryn replied, sulking.

Bel checked out the room he'd been assigned to share with Draco and Blair. Nice. He could definitely get used to a place like this.

Aeryn had believed that this place existed, but it's another thing actually seeing it. She's also trying very hard to keep a straight face.

"Hi!" Ryn said, breaking out of the Jedi's grasp and running to hide behind Aeryn. "Hide me!"

The Jedi gave Aeryn a "what can you do?" look and pretended to be searching for where the youngling might have gone.

"Skywalker," a voice behind him said levelly. "Heard you've been working with the Niman form. Away from Temple supervision. Master Kenobi lets you get away with too much."

Looking surprised, and not quite sure what to do, Aeryn looks behind her at the youngling, giving him a Seriously? look.

The youngling gave her his most endearing smile. "I don't wanna" he mouthed, pointing towards the barber.

Then he put his hands over his eyes, the theory of "if I can't see them, they can't see me" being universal.

"Um. I'm sure the haircut would look very good on you," Aeryn tries. She so has no clue.

"It'd look better on you," Ryn said, nodding.

Like moth to a flame, Peter migrated to the weapons area. He'd still not seen a lightsaber and was very, very curious.

"...No, I don't think it would," she says, wondering if it would be rude to pull her hair back right here and now.

Ryn's lower lip began to tremble. "Uh-huh," he said.

The Jedi took advantage of his distraction to sneak up and scoop him up and walk towards the barber.

Ryn let out a blood-curdling shriek.

"NooooOOOooooOOOOOooo!"

Aeryn winces, feeling a tiny bit bad about this. At least this time she didn't actually make a kid cry.

"You'd think we didn't do this every month," the Jedi commented with a small smile. She passed the youngling over to the four-armed barber.

Ryn was dumped into the chair with a distinct lack of ceremony. He immediately stopped crying but his baleful look promised all kinds of five-year-old retribution.

The barber didn't seem that impressed.
