The Crown Princess - Tuesday [Rooms and Lido Deck]

The ship was at sea all day today, but that wasn't going to stop the fun. The sun was still shining brightly in the sky, dousing sunbathers in its heavy rays, and the water looked positively azure along the sides of the boat.

The Lido deck remained open for summer joy, with little umbrellas in every drink.

"Nothing," she said, in that tone that kind of said yeah, there was totally something. "I'm just starting to think of 'vacation' as a curse word."

"Having trouble relaxing?" she asked. Last night was a bit fuzzy in Lois' mind right now but some of the stuff John had said (that wasn't about Journey) was starting to make sense.

Which wasn't exactly how it went, but completely how she viewed it.

"Yeah...that last part is kind of my fault," she admitted. "I went shot for shot with John last night and we kinda drank a lot. Sorry."

"No," she answered shortly. Jaina didn't talk about things that bothered her. She was pretty sure her head would cave in if she did.

"I'm guessing you're having a better time."

"Yeah, I'm having fun," Lois said, almost feeling bad about saying it. "My roommate only refers to me as 'Hot Girl' and I have a hangover but other than that..."

Lois smirked. "Yeah. Could be worse. I could have gotten someone who would have minded me falling asleep out on the balcony last night."

"Well, I don't know about John, but I get really hot when I've been drinking," she explained. "So sleeping outside seemed like the best course of action."

"...and there's also the danger of getting sick and throwing up in your bed is just gross."

"My fault," Jaina admitted with a shrug. "I should have gone home and didn't. It's just a week." Even if she was still sorely tempted to try and catch a portal home for the rest of it.
