The trip from Portalocity Fandom was surprisingly smooth--no layovers in worlds without shrimp, nothing where everyone was trapped in Endless Toledo...Anakin was suspicious already. But never mind that!
Welcome to Springtime Winds Island, private island and beautiful tropical paradise! While the Springtime Winds Hotel is at the heart, the entire island is owned by the resort. A shuttle leaves every twenty minutes, bringing guests to the island's model beach town, full of charming little bistros, trendy boutiques, and delicious restaurants. The last shuttle returns to the hotel at 10 PM to give the employees in town time to clean up and catch the ferry back to their own island homesaway from tourists.
There's plenty to keep you entertained and occupied for the entire week you're here, so settle in and get a head start on all that relaxing and fun you're going to have!

Room 302
"Oh, wow," she gushed, all but hanging off the balcony for a moment, "look at that view!"
"That is an excellent tub!" she declared, after flitting to the bathroom
"Ahhhh! So much space!" she sighed happily, throwing herself onto one of the beds and spreading out with her limbs draping off the side a little.
"And a door that locks so we don't even have to worry about sleepwalking students coming in here with knives!"
Okay, so maybe that last one was a little specific, but don't mind Yukari gleefully testing said lock to ensure that it worked.

Her attention then shifted almost witheringly toward Jon.
"Please tell me you being here is just you checking in on the room," she sighed, "and not because it's you I'm sharing a room with..."

Re: Room 302
Sorry, Jon, this was the first trip in a while she'd taken without her childhood best friend by her side the whole time, and the loss was going to be palpable.
"But if you were," she sighed heavily and pulled herself up, "she's be all, 'Yukari, why are you spending all your time in the hotel room, anyway? Get out there, and do something!' So I guess, in her spirit, that's what I should go do..."
Re: Room 302
He offered a tiny smile. "I have people who would say that to me as well. And it does seem to be a lovely place."
Re: Room 302
Just ignore how she couldn't stop gushing about every little thing from the lightswitches to the showerhead a moment ago, apparently.
"I will give 'em this, though," she allowed, with a bit of her excited grin slipping back, "it does really feel like we might actually be in space!"

Re: Room 302
She was answering that with the textbook skeptical look for a moment, before shaking her head and saying, "Yes, of course we are. Silly me. Why else would it be but actually outer space."
And she winked to show how in in the game she was.
Look, if pretending to be in space got her a week in a swanky resort like this, she would pretend so hard.
Re: Room 302
"You, erm. You do realize that some of our students are from other planets and worlds, I hope."
