Well, they were still here on day... something something. Time was hard to figure out without sunlight.

And more people were still arriving, but hopefully people up top were getting close to figuring it out. Especially now that there was some bit of communication between here and here.

But for right now,it was another day of random pirates, random space ships, and starting to think bowling fashion could be the hot new trend. Though that might just be Alexis. Isolation did terrible things to the mind.

Oh look, another day in the hole, another building crashing into the hole. At least this one was full of alcohol? That might cheer a few people up.

The realization that even the superheroes were getting eaten by holes would not cheer anyone up though. Probably.

"Are you alright?"

"Stark!" Guess what, Stark, everyone was getting hugs when Annie saw them today, because she had been literally losing sleep over this whole thing for over a damn week. "I'm fine, I just -- oh my God, you have no idea. It's so good to see you all."

Stark wasn't going to turn down a hug, especially while still trapped in a hole.

"It's good to see you too. Except you're here now. Stuck."

"They're working on it on the surface," Annie assured him with a nod. "I mean, I was too, until -- now. But everyone's working on it. We're calling in every resource we know how to."

Or, well. Now it was a they, not a we. Annie had to shift out of that way of thinking, now that she was stuck, too.

"They've tried some things down here," Stark said, looking up at the damaged portion of the ceiling. "The ships helped. But mostly it's just... waiting."

And trying not to freak out. Mostly that.

"I can help with that," Annie decided, looking up as well. "It's a lot of waiting up there, too. Steve's trying to get sonar equipment."

And explosives! Possibly not as comforting, though.

Sure, Annie could help until she drained all the power from everything and then where would they be? In exactly the same place, probably.

"To find us? Will that work? Does anyone know anything yet?"

In the same place and in the dark!

"We knew you were okay a couple days ago because Rey could talk to Anakin," Annie explained. "But -- no, we don't really know anything. Except that maybe it has to do with raccoons? Steve interrogated a bunch of them."

And gave them shiny badges, which seemed to be, like, the total end result of that, so maybe they really didn't know anything at all.

Stark was a walking night light. He could help with the dark part.

"Faye mentioned the raccoons. Did they say anything to Steve? They don't usually try and harm anyone." Sure, nobody was injured but being thrown in a hole for weeks definitely counted as harm.

"None of this makes sense. Less sense than things normally make here. At least you brought a bar. That might help."

"He's moving on to the squirrels," Annie shared, shaking her head. "Raccoons weren't, like, crazy helpful. "You guys are all okay? Just...bored?"

Because yeah, the bar was going to help.

"No injuries," Stark confirmed. "I'm better than I was. I... don't do well feeling trapped. I think a lot of us are just trying to find some way to keep occupied."

And maybe that way was going to be just drinking all of Eric's liquor for some of them.

"Yeah." Annie didn't really want to acknowledge how twitchy she got after time spent in New York, where she couldn't see the horizon. It had taken less than an hour for her skin to start crawling when she'd been locked up in Vought Tower, but this cavern was...roomier.

Maybe she'd be okay. Not thinking about it right now, anyway.

"Well, we can keep busy," she decided. "We'll keep working on the ceiling, and hey, I brought an axe range down in case you guys are all bored of bowling."

Stark had gone much longer than this without being able to see a sun or go outside. That didn't really make it better.

"I haven't tried bowling," Stark said. "I don't know how." The lanes weren't entirely level at this point either but that just made it more exciting, right?

"Never tried the axes, either. So there's new things to try. Something to do when I'm not watching attempts to destroy the ceiling."

"I'm actually a very good bowler," Annie shared. Even with a weird slanted lane! Just more of a challenge! "The axe range is fun, though. And like, in a pinch, they're kind of weapons."

Even if Annie suspected they were blunted somehow. For safety. Right?

"Hopefully we don't need weapons. We haven't yet." Stark frowned, realizing what he'd said. "I probably shouldn't have said that out loud."

He was absolutely making a break for the heavily armed spaceships if weapons became a necessity.
